Willmar Schwabe India Aesculus Hippocastanum is a chief remedy for hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids which are blind, painful, burning and purplish bleeding hemorrhoids. Rectum is sore with fullness, burning and itching. There is dryness of rectum with sensation as if rectum is full of small sticks. Knife like pains shoot up the rectum. Blind bleeding piles worse during menopause. Aesculus Hip also helps in constipation. Stool is large, dry and very difficult to pass. Stool is followed by fullness of the rectum and there is intense pain in anus for hours. There is dryness and heat in the rectum. Constipation with severe low back pain. Aesculus Hip also helps in itching caused due to thread worms. Aesculus Hip is also useful in treating varicose veins. Varicose veins of purple color. There is aching and soreness in the limbs. Backache affecting sacrum and hips.
The action of this drug is most marked on the lower bowel, producing haemorrhoidal veins, piles with characteristic backache. Much pain but little bleeding. Venous stasis general, varicose veins of purple color; everything is slowed down, digestion, heart, bowels, etc. Torpor and congestion of the liver and portal system, with constipation. The back aches and gives out and unfits the patient for business. Flying pains all over. Fullness in various parts, dry, swollen mucous membranes. Throat with hemorrhoidal conditions.

Head :

Nose :
- Congestive catarrh Fullness in root
Face :
- Congested, red, swollen after washing
Mouth :
- Viscid yellowish mucus; tongue coated yellow
- Toothache amel cold water
Throat :
- Varicose veins
- Dark, red, congested with full feeling
- Constricted sensation Feeling as if something had lodged
- Burning, stitching, agg swallowing
Stomach :
- Weight of stone, agg 3 hours after meal
Abdomen :
- Congestion of liver, feels full, sluggish functioning
- Dull pains: in liver, right side ext to back, scapula; in umbilical region, epigastrium
Rectum :
- Hemorrhoids

Pains:
